Peran Film sebagai media pewartaan sabda dan propaganda Katolisisme

Abstract

The digital age with "time space distortion" knocked down space and time limits conventionally. This ultimately leads to awareness, whether religion,, or finally the church can be "virtual", which is referred to as "cyber church" or "church-without walls". Or maybe, the church only uses communication media as her propaganda to increasingly proclaim and reach the wider message of the Gospel, with teaching content in the space of today's facilities. The media can be a bridge between life experiences and Christian vision. This audio-visual media can be one of the aids, so that the bridge can connect the life experiences of people today with a vision of Christianity with the capable of happening. The real form of audio-visual products, one of which, is film. Through a film, the audience is drwan to the world that the director wants to show. By using various elements in films such as photography, sound, special effects, and living characteristics, the film can invite the audience to trust the world the director shows. Therefore, film is an appropriate object for critical reflection because film has the right to form a world.
