Abstract:
Clothes is one of many primary needs in the world that people must have. By
having clothes, people can be protected from the heat and also people are more stylish
by wearing clothes. Clothes, especially T-shirt, is worn every day to do daily activities.
With the frequency of wearing T-shirt to do activities, therefore demand of T-shirt will
increase over time. Increased demand becomes an opportunity to open a bigger T-shirt
business. According to the segment, which is middle-rank economy teenagers, the
business is very suitable to open in Southern Bandung.
The purpose of this research is to analyze whether the T-shirt convection
business is possible to run in Bandung. The test of this business feasibility will be done
through many aspects, such as market and marketing aspect, technical aspect, human
resource management aspect, environment aspect, and financial aspect. The result of
every aspect will become a reference whether the business is possible to run or not.
The research’s result shows that every aspects have good result and the
business is good to run. Market and marketing aspect shows that T-shirt enthusiasts in
Bandung is still plenty and the marketing technique can make this business famous. The
business’ technical aspect is also good with a good layout planning and also the location
chosen is according to the market segment. A good organization structure shows that
human resource aspect has no problem at all. Waste produced by this business can be
processed perfectly through reselling the solid waste and using the material efficiently for
minimalizing liquid waste. From financial aspect, all the calculation shows that this
business is possible to run because the result has followed the minimum criteria.
