Diskriminasi subsidi dan alternatif strategi Indonesia dalam menghadapi kenaikan harga bahan minyak dunia

Abstract

Nowadays, there are so many changes happen in our life environment, followed by the other particular changes in many places such as economic condition, political and social aspects, and also the very current issue for instance, the rise of oil price impact towards our country economic conditions. The supply of oil is depend on the condition of our nature, and imbalance condition that happen in our nature brings direct influence to the oil price. And, if we see more deeply, the rise of oil price is caused by so many things, besides the fundamental or basic factor, also because of other aspecs like speculation or illegal oil exports. The impact of increasing world’s oil price towards our country is very comprehensive and result in increasing society life cost which is very significant, wether in food, transportation, daily needs and some ather aspects. Our government has done some efforts to solve the problem by number of policies, one of them is BLT (Bantuan Langsung Tunai), but this police is not enough to solve the problem. Honestly, with increasing social awareness to do fuel efficiency, also with energy conversion, decreasing of speculation, and also decreasing illegal export, we hope that oil prices will be controlled. The other policy subsidy discrimination strategy, for example our government only subsidized diesel fuel but not subsidized premium fuel, we hope also can decrease oil price. Many diesel fuel is used for public transportation, so then this impact decrease cost of product, and will decrease of inflation rate, and also reduce cost of life commonly.
