Abstract:
Human beings are born to communicate with other people. As
time goes, people always try to break down the barriers of time and
distance in communication. The development of communication
technologies has answered these needs by the handphone usage so that
the current demand for mobiles keeps growing.
Bandung Electronic Center or widely known as BEC palace is a
largest electronics shopping mall in Bandung. Nowadays, there have been
quite a lot of stores that trade in mobiles in BEC. This is due to cellular
shop business is considered a business that can grow along with rapid
techonological development. So cellular shop businesss is a lucrative
business.
Business of opening a new branch of Indojaya Cell store in BEC is
expected to generate profits. Therefore, before the business is run, it
needs to be done the analysis of the business feasibility in terms or market
and marketing, location, and financial aspects. Assessment criteria were
calculated using Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, and Payback
Period to test the feasibility of the business in terms of financial aspect.
Based on study of business feasibility that is conducted according to
the three aspects that have been researched, the business of opening
Indojaya Cell cellular shop is considered feasible. Even in pesimistic
condition, this business is still feasible. From the results of the feasibility
analysis that has been done, business recommendations is given to be
conducted by the shop so that business can be going well. Business
recommendations given consist marketing, layout, and financial.
