dc.description.abstract In recent years, a new proactive defense approach called Moving Target Defense (MTD), which strives to change the asymmetrical condition between the defender and adversaries due to the static nature of the system, has emerged. MTD proactively changes a specific aspect of the system randomly and dynamically to make the system unpredictable for adversaries. This paper presents a dynamic network classification extension based on the more recent MTD works and provides a brief review of seven common attributes of network-identity-based MTD. en_US
