Abstract

Architects like other professional people, have a duty to acquire a working knowledge of the development institution's process as it is affects their professional work. In the case of an architect the relevant fields are notably those of clearly understanding the development process and its institutions, especially the various statutory regulations such as Human Environments Law (Undang-Undang Lingkungan Hidup) and Construction Consultant Law (Undang-Undang Jasa Konstruksi), and other laws. The legal system will help society which living in all types of community understanding the one thing in common : mutually agreed rules of conduct appropriate to their way of life. In world of architecture this law will help every actors to know enough and be aware of the circumtances in which the legal aspect is needed. An architect will also expected to know about the areas of law which affect him or her personally, begin from the ideas, planning, designing, buiding constructing and functioning. The more varied the activities and the more complex the social structure, the greater is the need for everyone to be aware of the part he or she must play in formulating and observing the rules. These study try to descriped what should the architecture's fields had to know in institutions development process.
