Pengadopsian community policing system dalam Kepolisian Republik Indonesia

Abstract

Japan success in order to brak down crime rate, ralated to the police capability in order to implement community policing system, which is pricipally doing optimalization to prevent criminal. The action is, police staff participating in the community life. The role of police is elimination of the worries of crime and also for the criminal itsels. Police in this situation act as mobilizer to develop solidarity between community member to do prevent action from crime. In Japan, this system develop in Koban an Chuzaisho which is become a part of community life. In the contexts of reformation of domestic security, it seems that this system relevant to develop Indonesian Corp of Police. Priority put in order mostly related to human capital, structure and also increasing of standard of living from the society. Kata kunci: community policing system, kejahatan, kehidupan masyarakat.
