Abstract:
The asymmetrical experience described in the famous Twin Paradox of the Special Theory of Relativity is discussed, and the analysis is supported by simple calculations. It will be shown that the asymmetry is caused by the asymmetry of the event considered, i.e. the event of arriving at the distant planet, observed both by the travelling and the home-staying twin.
