Abstract:
A study of the temperature dependence of 35CI NQR frequency and spin-lattice relaxation time in 5-chloro-3-pyridinol is reported. The project investigated the existence of crystalline phases and
the behaviour of T1 at varying temperatures, which allowed the determination of the activation energy of the compound. The data indicates the existence of a single crystalline phase with two
resonance lines. Value of activation energy of the motions of the compound was calculated to be 11.9 ± 1.3 kJ mol-1 .
