dc.description.abstract |
Aggregate Production Planning (APP), as a middle-term planning, is one of
a number o f steps involved in Production Planning and Control. APP can be
analysed as a Linear Programming model problem. However, the model developed
is based on the fulfilment o f a certainty assumption in the relevant costs parameters
which requires that all parameters assume certain values. Such an assumption is
often considered as unrealistic. This research models and solves the APP in the
case where the certainty assumption is violated. The approach used is the fuzzy
linear programming model. |
